The Current Model: Oura Ring 5
Launched in May 2026, the Oura Ring 5 is the latest generation. It is 40% smaller than the Ring 4, making it the "world's smallest smart ring," and comes in sizes 6–13 with a fully titanium build. It offers 6–9 days of battery life and a full charge in about 80 minutes.

Oura focuses on holistic health rather than just steps. It tracks over 50 metrics, but these are its core strengths:
Sleep & Readiness: It provides a Sleep Score and a daily Readiness Score (1–100) to tell you if your body is ready for stress or needs rest. Its sleep staging algorithm has 79% agreement with polysomnography (the clinical gold standard).
New Health Radar Features: The Ring 5 introduces proactive monitoring for Blood Pressure Signals (tracking overnight patterns) and Nighttime Breathing to help detect potential issues like hypertension or sleep apnea signs.
Women’s Health: It tracks cycle phases, predicts fertile windows, and offers pregnancy and menopause insights.
